What is the MeeVIS Permission?
With the MeeVIS Permission you give someone one day of free permission to fish along with a VIS pass holder. You invite family, friends or acquaintances to get acquainted with fishing. In doing so you promote angling as a member of an angling club.
The guest fishes under the same conditions as the VIS pass holder. Any fish caught by the guest must always be returned.
When does the MeeVIS Permission apply?
- You use the MeeVIS Permission only when you fish together with the VIS pass holder.
- The permission applies only during daylight: from 1 hour before sunrise until 2 hours after sunset.
- You may use a maximum of 2 rods.
- With your VIS pass you can take multiple guests on one day. You may not take the same person multiple times.
Where can you fish with the MeeVIS Permission?
You may use the MeeVIS Permission only on waters listed in the Joint List of Dutch VIS waters. You can also consult the VISplanner. Search for 'VISpas' under required document.
